You’ll spend part of your time collaborating closely with business partners in product, engineering, finance and marketing teams to ensure we are focused on the biggest opportunities and interpreting our data correctly. And you’ll spend the other part of your time with the Data team building analytics models and systems that help scale our insights more broadly, both throughout the company and directly in the product. We expect you to demonstrate clear communication, strong desire to execute and best-in-class craftsmanship.

What you’ll be doing:
- Defi/NFT protocol scientific research. Stay at the forefront of crypto innovation and conduct deep data driven scientific research of defi protocols such decentralized exchange, defi borrow/lend, yield aggregation, insurance etc
- Leverage statistical and machine learning models to on-chain and off-chain data to drive insights and products
- Build model and scalable data-driven API and services to drive both internal and external use cases
- Publish rigorous data and model driven crypto scientific research and contribute to the broad crypto ecosystem
What we look for in you:
- Demonstrate our core cultural values: clear communication, positive energy, continuous learning, and efficient execution
- Masters or Phd degree in a scientific field (Computer Science/Math/Statistics, etc.)
- Ability to express real-world problems in quantitative terms and determine the appropriate approaches to use to tackle the problems
- Understanding of advanced statistical and machine learning techniques and apply appropriate ML model (eg deep learning vs logistic regression) to the problem at hand
- Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Golang, Java, C++ or like)
- Experience in applying these technologies in end to end production settings: Apache Airflow, Spark, Kafka/Kinesis, Snowflake etc
Nice to haves:
- Financial service industry experience building scientific models a plus
- Passionate about or willing to dive deep into crypto innovation
- Experience with solidity or web3
