Zoom’s Compliance Team is responsible for the management and development of Zoom's compliance program, facilitating compliance with U.S. and international laws and regulations, and evaluating the compliance practices of our suppliers and partners. 

 

The Regulatory Compliance Analyst will provide support to the regulatory compliance team by carrying out responsibilities related to the requirements of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) order, including due diligence and continuous monitoring. Additionally, the role will support investigations related to other potential regulatory inquiries in a cross-functional team effort to manage remedial procedures. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, analytical, detail oriented, great communicator, and enjoys collaborating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a globally distributed team. This is an individual contributor role. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Initiate and facilitate compliance with the FTC order and perform the review on evidence provided by stakeholders..

  • Investigates and report any potential abnormalities and discrepancy in source of truth 

  • Provides input from a governance, risk, and compliance spectrum to ensure Zoom’s stakeholders are aware of the best practices to support alignment with compliance requirements

  • Escalates any potential or confirmed risk issues to reporting manager and perform an audit to validate any finding 

  • Follows-up on evidence gathering and provides status updates to management on a defined basis 

  • Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders as needed

  • Facilitates consistency with Company security and compliance policies, procedures, and standards 

  • Researches regulations, policies, and best practices, and communicates requirements

  • Contributes to the team in whatever way serves the mission

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree; Compliance risk management, Business Information Technology, Information Security, or related discipline 

  • 2+ years of experience governance, risk and compliance or auditing/assurance background preferred 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required

  • Experience in Asana, JIRA or ServiceNow is a plus

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment 

  • Ability to define problems, collect and validate data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions 

  • Experience in regulatory compliance, legal or other control-related function within a technology company and/or accounting/auditing organization preferred 

  • Knowledge of privacy laws, rules, regulations, risks and typologies a plus 

  • Industry relevant certifications such as CISA or CIPP/US a plus, but not required
