The Role:

This role is part of our UX research team, which is responsible for providing qualitative and quantitative customer insights to inform and influence product strategy and design. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and planning skills, attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to the role. The coordinator will be responsible for the recruitment of participants for multiple research projects and administrative duties to ensure the success of the teams' research efforts. This person should be excited about eventually growing into a full-fledged researcher.

What You'll Do:

  • Day-to-day coordination of UX research practice and projects
  • Work with UX researchers and designers to outline participant requirements
  • Recruit research participants for UX studies (find, screen and schedule) 
  • Create and maintain recruitment processes and best practices
  • Coordinating anything to do with UX research: calendars, locations, releases, participants, refreshments, Honoria, vendors, logistics, etc.
  • Execute surveys: email participants, review statistics in process and help analyze data.
  • Manage user recruitment database
  • Work directly with research and design leads as well as project managers, engineers, administrative assistants, users and others working on projects
  • Ability to work across multiple projects and teams
  • Help finalize research deliverables
  • Administrative tasks such as: creating meetings, organizing legal paperwork, supply ordering, etc.

Who You Are:

  • Associate's degree
  • 1+ years of experience in research of some sort
  • A planner, always thinking ahead to make sure that things are planned out in advance
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs and course-correct situations before problems develop
  • Proficient in Google Office (sheets, docs, and slides)
  • Excellent written skills, editing - and superb grammar is a must
  • A desire to become a full-fledged UX Researcher
