The Revenue Analyst will be a key role in the Accounting organization. The role will work closely with members of the Accounting team and cross-functionally with other departments to build a scalable revenue process. The candidate must have experience working with order-to-cash processes involving high volume transactions and large data sets. This person is a well-organized, process driven, and supportive, who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high growth environment. The role will report to the Accounting Manager and will work closely with several cross-functional team.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead Order-to-Cash cycle, which includes customer billing, collections efforts, cash application, and customer account reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly revenue and deferred revenue close procedures plus consistently maintain Netsuite Revenue Module records.
  • Validate and reconcile revenue reporting between Sales and Finance data systems, which includes querying and analyzing large volumes of data.
  • Support billing and revenue process initiatives for new products and process enhancements.
  • Proactive identification of revenue accounting issues and internal control improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain contract terms alignment, billing efficiencies and revenue recognition accuracy.
  • Assist with gathering documentation for the Company’s financial statement audits and regulatory compliance reporting.
  • Support various ad hoc reporting projects and other requests.

What will set you up for success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
  • CPA a plus2-4 years of relevant accounting experience, startup experience preferred
  • Understanding of revenue recognition, including software revenue recognition concepts in accordance with ASC 606
  • Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, and data tools
  • Must have proficient knowledge of Excel and Google Suite
  • Excellent problem solving skills and high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills and able to handle multiple priorities within deadlines
  • Team player, with a positive attitude, who is proactive and owns accountability
