Senior Analyst, Brand Marketing Analytics
About the role
As Senior Marketing Analyst, you will have the opportunity to relentlessly leverage research, data science, experimentation, and analytics to understand how we can optimize our marketing and partnership efforts. In the increasingly competitive financial services landscape, branding efforts are very important for Chime, and your passion for storytelling with data will be vital in identifying high-growth opportunities to make Chime a household name.
For Colorado based roles: In accordance with applicable law, this role has an annual starting salary of $126,000 plus bonus, a competitive equity package, and benefits (see below). The actual pay may be higher depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
In this role, you can expect to
- Synthesize a variety of data and research to inform marketing opportunities and optimize media mix across brand marketing channels.
- Be a thought leader in providing data-backed recommendations on media plans, building measurement plans, and testing marketing analytics tools.
- Identify which KPIs, data, features, and events will determine whether success has been achieved, where it has been achieved, and why.
- Proactively monitor performance of marketing initiatives regularly, while socializing actionable insights
- Develop and maintain data infrastructure and self-serve performance dashboards for stakeholders
- Partner with marketers, research teams, data engineers, other data scientists/analysts, and external agencies to drive cohesive analysis that will strategically impact high-visibility marketing decisions.
To thrive in this role, you have
- An advanced degree or equivalent working experience in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 4+ years of experience in B2C marketing analytics (in FinTech, Banking, Lending or Credit is a plus).
- A proactive mindset who delights in applying statistical rigor and data science techniques to understand how your organization can optimize branding efforts in both digital and offline marketing channels.
- Experience interpreting brand survey metrics and analyzing data from some or all of the following channels: TV, Social, PPC, Affiliates, Audio, Display, Video
- Strong SQL skills with exposure to Python/R for data manipulation and experience with BI visualization tools (Looker or Tableau)
- Effective communication skills with the ability to translate stakeholder questions into actionable analysis
- Excellent attention to detail with strong focus on data integrity.
