Sage Intacct, voted best workplaces in the bay area for 10 consecutive years, is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our BI Team. The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of our BI systems. You will be working closely with business users, the data source team, and department data analysts to support the ongoing development of enterprise-wide BI platform. You'll be designing and implementing the architecture, tools, and processes needed to provide the "single source of truth" reports to support data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be a skilled analyst who is passionate about business intelligence, comfortable working in an agile environment and embraces the opportunity to connect with internal customers to define and shape our solutions. The candidate we are looking for should have a strong knowledge of data storytelling and the ability to design dashboards to tell the story.

• Develop and maintain standardized, dashboards, metrics, KPIs and reports using sales trends, marketing, accounting and customer usage data

• Manipulate and analyze large data sets to distill insights from data trends and forecasts
• Communicate insights to key stakeholders and influence teams to take action based on your recommendations
• Work across all lines of business to provide meaningful data analysis and ensure data is not misinterpreted by business units
• Partner with finance, sales and marketing teams to gain a rich understanding of business processes, analytics and reporting needs and gaps
• Identifying statistically significant patterns, correlations, and compiling questions raised by such analysis
• Collaborate with data warehouse teams to ensuring solutions can be scaled globally
• Train and mentor department data analysts to be self-supportive, but provide them with the data and tools they need

• Establish processes for data reconciliation to ensure data quality and report accuracy
• Proactively research business problems and develop solutions to allow proper decision-making
• Ensure accurate metadata repository, data dictionary, general data quality and integrity
• Ensure data presentation and delivery in secure and in compliance with data governance policies
• Provide tier 1 support of BI reporting tools across all lines of business

Requirements:

• Advanced Tableau skills, 5+ years of experience
• Advance Tableau data visualization skills
• Expert in Tableau online administration, user types, roles and groups
• Understand Tableau project structure and permission management
• Expert in datasource management, and data refreshing
• Self-starter attitude, able to approach business problems proactively
• Experience with data sources and reporting tools, Oracle, Tableau, Salesforce Einstein
• Experience with data scripting and development platforms (python, ruby, php, etc.)
• Some performance-tuning and troubleshooting experience
• Supports and adheres to industry best practices in change management and SDLC
• Ability to debug and fix production/existing issues
• Service mindset. Your customer has the highest priority
• Strong organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills
• Understanding of Finance terminology/methodologies, SaaS KPI's is a plus
• BS/BA, in Computer Science area, MS in Computer Science is a plus
• Tableau Desktop or Professional Certification preferred
