About the Role
We’re hiring a Senior Data Analyst with a bend toward data science. You’ll work closely with product managers and other analysts to foster a culture of data-driven product development. In this particular role, you’ll work with our financial health team to unearth insights into our members’ financial lives across many areas - spending, savings, borrowing and investing - that will inform the products we build to help them.
As a key member of this mission-driven team, you will develop the dashboards and metrics we use to guide our business, surface product insights and recommendations through analyses on large data sets, and inform our product roadmaps with your deep understanding of member behavior.
Responsibilities
- Foster a data-driven culture. Work closely with PM's to define feature goals, implement tracking, create dashboards to evaluate success, and analyze experimental results.
- Perform exploratory analyses and in-depth research on large data sets to help product teams uncover high-impact opportunities in the areas of financial health and engagement.
- Be the go-to expert on product data and insights. Use your data querying and visualization skills to answer any question in a way that provides actionable insights.
- Communicate not just findings, but also your recommendations to key stakeholders and executives. Use your insights to advocate for our members in everything we do.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, and/or data-driven product management.
- Expert knowledge of SQL.
- Expertise with data visualization tools to convey actionable insights to product managers and business leaders.
- Experience in A/B testing and experimentation best practices.
- Experience building predictive models using regression or ML techniques
- Degree in computer science or data science a plus.
- Hardworking, empathetic, and collaborative, with a track record of success working in fast-paced environments.

- Familiarity with Looker, Tableau, Domo, etc.
