Senior Data Architect

Fivestars seeks a Senior Data Architect (aka Senior Data Product Manager) who will help the revenue teams at Fivestars (sales, marketing, operations, and finance) build and maintain data and analytics services that will enable scaling, hyper-targeting, delightful merchant experiences, and prudent financial decision-making. Reporting to our SVP of Marketing & Growth, you will work with stakeholders across multiple departments to define breakthrough data projects, define our revenue data vision and roadmap, and prioritize the work of a small team of data engineers.   

Responsibilities:

• Connect with business stakeholders to understand their strategic priorities and help them define data products and services that will advance their long term goals
• Prioritize data projects that support diverse needs like pricing, revenue analytics, service levels, and marketing communications 
• Define specific data product requirements that can efficiently direct the work of data engineers
• Build and maintain data infrastructure yourself as needed using our data warehousing tools and infrastructure 
• Communicate to senior stakeholders your data product vision and coordinate with our product analytics team where needed to stay aligned

What We’re Looking For :

• 10+ years of relevant analytics/data experience, ideally with a few in a revenue-facing role
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, drive change, and collaborate effectively across the organization
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, and proven ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Desire to create business value through data infrastructure, reporting, and analytics
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and prioritization skills
• Advanced SQL 
• Data warehouse and ETL pipeline design experience
• Predictive modeling and data science experience preferred
• Experience surfacing insights and supporting Sales, Marketing, and/or Operations teams
