Data influences all of the decisions we make at Tinder. As a senior data scientist working on Tinder’s Experimentation Platform, you will help conceive novel ideas, manage experience rollouts and interpret experimentation results. You will help Tinder to evolve relentlessly through rapid iterations on product features, revenue, user growth and advanced matching algorithms. In this Data Science role, you will:

• Help and guide all three stages of experimentation: ideation, experience delivery and results interpretation
• Support and improve existing experimentation analytics pipelines and systems in production
• Design and develop new data pipelines and streaming processes that are highly available, scalable, and reliable for our KPI anomaly and alert system
• Partner with engineering, analytics, and product stakeholders to define experimentation standards, guidelines and best practices

We're looking for:

• BS/MS in Mathematics, Statistics or related technical discipline
• 5+ years experience working on and maintaining large scale analytics systems
• 5+ years programming experience in SQL or SQL like query language
• Experience with NoSQL or RDBMS platforms - DynamoDB, Redis, or Postgres
• Bonus points for exposure to scala, spark and AWS
