Your Role:
TrueAccord is looking for a Senior Engineer, Data Platforms to design, lead development, and help maintain one of the key sources of our differentiation as a technology company and a successful business: the massively scalable, fast, and efficient data pipelines.
We’re looking for a strong self-starter who is confident in contributing to a rapidly evolving, innovative data ecosystem which is not only integral to the success of TrueAccord’s mission but will define new industry standards of performance and flexibility in the highly fragmented debt collection space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and lead the implementation of TrueAccord’s next generation data platform
- Drive data quality across our data pipelines, and implement system controls for managing data quality
- Perform code reviews and provide critical suggestions for fixes and improvements
- Contribute to any and all data engineering development work as needed.
You Have:
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related degrees
- 5+ years of relevant experience with data engineering
- Expertise related to designing and developing data pipelines, ETL, data warehousing, and workflow systems
- Experience implementing and maintaining big data technologies such as Snowflake, Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift, Apache Airflow, etc.
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL datastores
- Experience developing people through coaching, mentoring, and feedback
- Experience building cross-functional relationships and working with other teams to deliver projects
- Advanced proficiency with Python
- Advanced SQL skills and very strong experience in scaling and optimizing schemas, performance tuning ETL pipelines
- Experience in owning and defining SLAs for maintaining production processes
- Robust written and verbal communication, ability to effectively communicate with both technical and business partners
- Desire to work in San Francisco.
