We are looking for a Senior Financial Payments Analyst to help define performance metrics, provide insightful analysis and drive global payments solutions. You will be monitoring, assessing and measuring the performance of our available payment methods. You will drive the direction for understanding and improving our payments capabilities, own data analytics for electronic payments while partnering with different engineering, product, and operations teams to drive related projects. The ideal candidate is passionate about data analysis and has a track record of bringing course-changing insights to cross-functional teams. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Finance Systems & Operations.
Responsibilities
- Define, own and drive KPIs enabling global payments growth and success
- Develop a weekly global electronic payments report analysis comparing trends and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Build strong relationships with payment processors, identify industry changes, assess impact and provide recommendations
- Drive enhancements through consumer payment analytics and data insights
- Create, maintain and ensure completeness and accuracy of electronic payment dashboards
- Provide first level support of payment processor reconciliations performed by accounting team
- Manage the payments processing roadmap including migration across processors, adding payment methods and enhancements
- Collaborate with business process owners, product managers and engineering to build-out market relevant payment options
- Provide cross-functional support on electronic payment issues; diagnose, resolve and provide continuous training on expected vs unexpected results
- Assist in developing ad-hoc analysis, reports, presentations, and special projects for senior leadership team
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting preferred, or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of SaaS industry with related payments processing, quote-to-cash financial reporting experience
Experience working with payment processors like Chase, Stripe, Adyen, PayPal, etc.
Ability to deal with ambiguity and thrive in a rapidly changing business environment
Must be self-starter, able to work independently, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have the interpersonal skills necessary to manage relationships at varying levels
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical parties
Detail-oriented with an inquisitive nature in service to troubleshooting and resolution
Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
Demonstrated ability to effectively present information through dashboards and PowerPoints
Advanced knowledge of the following applications: Spreadsheets, Slideware, Tableau, Blackline, SFDC and NetSuite
