We also collaborate with our health system partners to combine longitudinal EHR data with genomic data to optimize care across the health system. This proprietary clinico-genomic dataset, with recontactable individuals and actively enrolling programs, powers our life sciences segment and helps our life sciences partners bring innovative therapies to patients faster and more efficiently. 

We’re looking for someone to work alongside multiple functions to tackle a variety of critical projects for the company to help set our strategy and optimize our day-to-day commercial operations – including prioritizing business development efforts, assessing the value of new strategic initiatives, and driving our strategic planning process. As a Senior Manager in Strategy & Business Operations you will:

  • Tackle diverse and complex problems across a variety of areas to help set our strategy – from prioritizing business development targets, to evaluating the ROI of a new initiative, to helping to define new product offerings
  • Serve as a thought partner to multiple functions, including business development, marketing, and product to support cross-functional decision-making and implementation of new initiatives
  • Drive our annual strategic planning process – including gathering insights from the market and working with cross-functional leaders to evaluate the attractiveness and feasibility of future strategic directions
  • Support the company's leadership team with relevant and insightful presentations and reports to drive strategic decision making, including developing materials for board and investor presentations
  • Serve as a bridge between commercial and finance teams to develop our short– and long-term demand and revenue projections
  • Have your finger on the pulse of the industry – keeping the company up to date on evolving market trends and players
  • Always be where the fire is hottest  – jump in to help solve the most critical challenges across the company

Required background:

  • BA or BS degree
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in strategy at a high-growth company or in consulting, investment banking, or private equity
  • Industry or academic background in life sciences and / or healthcare
  • Highly analytical and structured thinker, comfortable tackling both quantitative and qualitative challenges 
  • Excellent communication skills and incredible attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage across multiple projects and competing deadlines
  • Capable of owning the details, while still keeping the big picture in mind
  • Able to tell a story focused on insights, not just data, for executive-level audiences
  • Experience driving short- and long-term revenue forecasting / modeling

An ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Experience with the Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides), Tableau, and SFDC
  • Comfortable working with, manipulating, and extracting insights from large data sets
