The Solutions Strategy Manager will partner closely with Komodo Health internal and external customers to provide data analysis & strategy insights to support and participate in sales conversations with commercially oriented Life Sciences teams. The role requires comfort working with life sciences customers in the Commercial space, relative to data and analytics, and an ability to engage, communicate, consult, and partner effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Engaging with Customers: 

  • Be a contact for multiple internal customers and an advocate for biopharma customers, working to consistently meet or exceed client expectations on data solutions strategies (anticipated travel of 20-30%)
  • Generate valuable insights utilizing Komodo data and platforms and package those insights in PowerPoint or other media in a client-ready format for both new pre-sales efforts as well as account expansion for new and existing customers
  • Support sales discussions as an analytics subject matter expert to enable close commercially focused solutions’ business 
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of customers’ needs, gaps, and opportunities for Komodo to deliver ongoing value through data pulls and presentation of analytics; working with internal and external customers strategically to provide proactive value

Internal Collaboration: 

  • Work closely with Sales, Account Management and Customer Success teams to drive value of overall Komodo products and maximize project opportunities
  • Become the trusted Komodo adviser to each of your internal and external customers by proactively identifying and delivering customer value
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to identify and develop new analytics service offerings
  • Share customer feedback with Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional colleagues to enhance ongoing product development efforts
  • Work as part of a growing, dynamic team to create a culture that supports strategies for scale and growth

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years overall working experience in the biopharma industry, working with data and analytics platforms
  • 8+ years of experience in roles of increasing responsibility delivering analytics or consulting services to internal and external Life Sciences customers within innovative technology or commercial solutions providers to the industry, top consulting or boutique life sciences consulting firms
  • In-depth understanding of and experience working with data assets utilized by Life Sciences customers in the commercial analytics space, including patient level insights, HCP and HCO sales reporting, Market Access (payer) insights and MDM processes and solutions
  • Prior experience analyzing data assets and working directly with Life Sciences, specifically within Commercial analytics, Sales Operations (IC, targeting) and/or Market Access to deliver value
  • Advanced storytelling ability, as it relates to data analysis
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects with high quality and grace under pressure
  • Flexible mindset to embrace use of new software applications and cloud-based platforms
  • Sincere interest in working at an early-stage startup and scaling with the company as we grow
