Senior Commissions Analyst

Position Summary:

We are looking to hire a talented Senior Commissions Analyst to manage and efficiently process Druva’'s commissions programs globally. As a key business partner to Sales org, this individual will work across the organization and interact with members of Finance and Accounting as well as Sales Ops and Business Ops leaders within the company to drive Commission Plan payout and help define the process by which we as a company scale and grow.

This person will be responsible for the timely and accurate process of calculating global sales commissions and company-wide internal channel commissions. This position requires an innovative thinker who can interface with multiple functions in an effort to implement procedures and controls and maintain our supporting systems. You will have the ability to logically think through an issue and create a new or enhance an existing process to enhance solutions. The ideal candidate is able to take direction from business leaders and work independently on the final product.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain compensation calculation models and actively work towards an automated solution.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of compensation plans, and implement Varicent, or other similar commissions tools
  • Calculate all commission compensation according to documented Commission Plan and ensure compensation is properly accounted for and settled in the appropriate timeframes, work with payroll on meeting reporting and payroll deadlines.
  • Work cross functionally with Sales Ops / Business Ops / Finance / Accounting to ensure accuracy of data, inputs and calculations
  • Support the sales team by resolving ad hoc commission payment inquiry, and communicate any commission changes/corrections in a timely manner to the Payroll team.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience working in a financial/analytical capacity in sales and/or commissions analyst role
  • Ability to communicate confidently, effectively and work cooperatively with staff at all levels of the organization, including internal and cross-departmental teams, consistently displaying a high level of professionalism
  • Must possess the ability to work with confidential reports and information with complete discretion
  • Must be highly analytical with a comprehensive understanding of spreadsheets and pivot tables
  • High degree of proficiency with SFDC, Varicent or other compensation tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in implementing Varicent or other similar commissions tools
  • Knowledge ASC 606
  • Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated and detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team to meet organizational objectives and deadlines
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking skills
  • Data Analytics certification is a plus
