About the Role

The Courier Operations team manages the end-to-end lifecycle of couriers (delivery partners) - a key customer of our platform. From attracting prospective couriers, ensuring efficient onboarding, building out early lifecycle education, improving the trip and Uber experience, managing acquisition investment, and retaining and winning back churned couriers - the courier team is focused on solving big and impactful real-world problems.
We are looking for an outstanding individual who is passionate about using data to surface insights and then act on those insights to design and building creative solutions! You will work closely with our Leadership Team, and drive alignment across the entire organization, including Product, Engineering, and Customer Support.
What You'll Do
• Proactively scope and lead multiple projects to help grow our courier pipeline and base; take accountability for project outcomes, ensure delivery on project critical metrics, & keep others informed of progress• Analyze sophisticated data, build models, and aggregate insights to drive key business decisions and policies• Surface key insights and build business cases to secure resourcing and/or investment• Define critical metrics and develop dashboards to track business performance; report findings to senior leadership to define long-term strategy and decision-making• Collaborate and work cross-functionally with other operations teams as well as Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Tech etc. to ensure insights inform broader critical initiatives• Build a cohesive strategy for programs and solutions to build for our end-to-end ecosystem
Basic Qualifications
• At least 2+ year of professional experience in Operations Management or Strategy
Preferred Qualifications
• 3-4 years of experience in strategy, operations, or related field• Self-starter with an analytical orientation; compassionate and leans in and embraces rolling up your sleeves with your team; skilled at balancing between short-term needs and long-term investments; flourishes with change and comfortable with ambiguity• Bias toward action and constant push for clarity and execution• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as partner management, consensus building, and project management• Exceptional Excel / data management skills• SQL proficiency strongly preferred• Bachelor's degree (preferably in business, economics, math, or other related field)
