This is an integral client-facing role tasked with ensuring the technical design and success of Evidation’s clinical research studies. The ideal candidate is 

  • A critical thinker that can balance risk and tradeoffs across technical disciplines,research objectives and participant needs, 
  • An excellent communicator that can clarify complex concepts and facilitate alignment across stakeholders of diverse disciplinary backgrounds, and
  • A quick learner that can apply their knowledge to new/different technical challenges
  • A self driven individual with a high level of accountability and ownership

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive alignment between internal and external stakeholders by:
    • Representing and clearly communicating Evidation capabilities within and outside the organization
    • Actively understanding customer and research needs, while managing scope to drive study configurations toward reduced complexity
    • Balancing technical, business and client requirements to optimize study configuration decisions
    • Deeply understanding the current product capabilities and future roadmap
  • Own the technical integration of study protocol and study implementation, with consideration for organizational capabilities across engineering products, clinical study logistics, scientific/analytical objectives and regulatory considerations of each study
  • Identify and actively manage system level technical dependencies and technical risk within and across studies
  • Liaise with cross-organizational functions (product, BD, sales, engineering, clinica, operations) to mitigate execution risk
  • Drive and contribute to processes, infrastructure, and documentation geared toward ensuring that learnings are applied across the organization
  • Listen and deliver what drives value to our partners by helping to problem solve key technical challenges, understanding research objectives, and liaising with key product, technical and clinical experts cross functionally within evidation. 
  • Work with the BD and sales teams to help introduce and demonstrate Evidation’s capabilities to prospective and current customers, and work to develop creative solutions to solve business challenges and problem-solve potential roadblocks on the path to a study design run on our platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in an engineering or related discipline, with 6+ years of industry experience (3+ years with advanced degree)
  • Experience deriving and integrating requirements across technical and non-technical functions
  • Experience in a customer facing role
  • Experience with clinical study management and clinical operations 
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated experience driving alignment in a cross-functional setting. Demonstrated ability to adapt your message to the technical level of the audience and comfort presenting technical materials to groups of any size and background
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience managing technical programs with high attention to detail and focus on tracking dependencies and risk 
  • Demonstrated leadership traits with experience building and maintaining trusted relationships with various counterparts (business, technical, clinical), and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders 
  • Strong program management skills, leading and implementing high-impact projects with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical skills in an analytical domain (e.g. software engineering, computer science, data science, etc.) strongly preferred
  • Exposure to regulated industries
  • High business acumen and ability to prioritize relative to business needs
