About Your Role:
Sendoso is seeking a highly ambitious individual who can help to orchestrate our global supply chain for Sendoso customers. The Supply Planning Analyst is a customer centric role that will create the visibility and reliability within the purchasing and delivery of products to our distribution facilities. The ideal candidate has mad spreadsheet skills and an analytical outlook.
Who You Are:
- Likes to be the center of a global hub-and-spoke supply chain organization
- Able to create processes to manage the communication of the purchasing and delivery functions
- Comfortable using spreadsheets and formulas
- Look for ways to automate the processes
- Manage vendor relationships and hold quarterly business reviews
- Actively negotiate terms and conditions with key vendors
- Ability to explain complex concepts simply
Your Typical Day:
- Review the supply chain and identify exceptions to delivery or availability of orders
- Manage the communication between the curation and customer to get approval on key products
- Issue purchase orders that align to price and delivery agreements
- Maintain master data
- Review on-hand inventory for low velocity or expired products
- Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders within customer organizations to drive successful outcomes
Experience:
- Experience in data analysis and spreadsheet
- Working understanding of Warehouse Management Systems / ERP Systems / Reporting and Analysis software
- Proven track record and knowledge of working with global supply chains
- Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
- Highly proficient at seeking out information (curiosity), demonstrate a strong commitment to data and analytics integrity, and to achieving results
- Comfortable with presenting to clients, big and small, both in-person and virtually
- Marketing and vendor management experience is a plus
