We are seeking a Decision Scientist to help elevate our client-facing functions—Sales, Customer Success, Customer Strategy, and Marketing—by turning data into actionable insights that drive deeper client relationships and revenue growth. In this role, you will:
• Partner with our Commercial teams to identify opportunities, uncover challenges, and deliver insights to our customers in order to deepen the value of our partnerships.
• Build and maintain analytical tools, visualizations, and dashboards to highlight trends and patterns, craft clear data narratives, and guide both internal and external stakeholders in making decisive, profitable decisions.
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop thought leadership content and strategic perspectives based on actionable insights derived from our data.
• Occasionally engage directly with clients and their analytics teams to present or refine your findings, ensuring our recommendations address their needs.
The ideal candidate has a strong analytical background, experience in retail decision-making, and a keen ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain intuitive dashboards and analytics tools to support the Commercial teams in selling our retail solutions.
- Convert raw data into actionable insights, presenting both opportunities and risks in a narrative that enhances client engagement and sales effectiveness.
- Frame data analysis in terms of the decision-making process, ensuring insights directly relate to business questions posed by stakeholders.
- Take a 360-degree view of business challenges, considering the type of analysis, visualization methods, and behavioral understanding that can help stakeholders make informed decisions.
- Present findings in a clear and compelling manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize sales strategies and client targeting.
- Automate data extraction, processing, and reporting to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Balance the need for rigorous measurement with the reality of business execution, recognizing when to push for clean experiments and when to make decisions based on correlations.
- Maintain a keen focus on process improvement, proactively identifying ways to refine our analytics ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in decision science, analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Proven track record of bridging analytics with commercial objectives, particularly within Sales or Client Analytics teams.

- Experience with Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Exceptional communication skills with a track record of presenting data-driven insights to stakeholders of all seniority levels.
