You’ll collaborate closely with our design and engineering teams to refine components, enhance documentation, and ensure a seamless handoff between design and code.

Your work will directly impact the scalability and consistency of our design system across web and Android platforms, utilizing tools like Figma, Storybook, and Showkase.

What You’ll Do

  • Design System Development: Build, refine, and document reusable components in Storybook (React) and Showkase (Android) to improve developer adoption
  • Figma Integration: Ensure our design system aligns seamlessly with Figma, optimizing component libraries and documentation for designers
  • Code & Collaborate: Write and improve component-level front-end code, working alongside engineers to ensure high-quality implementation
  • Accessibility & Performance: Advocate for accessibility (a11y) best practices, performance optimizations, and scalable front-end architecture
  • Cross-Team Communication: Act as a bridge between designers and engineers, ensuring design intent is properly translated into code

What We’re Looking For

  • Extensive experience working with and maintaining design systems
  • Deep expertise in Figma, Storybook (React), and Showkase (Android Design System Management)
  • Strong front-end development skills, particularly in React/TypeScript and a solid understanding of Android UI frameworks
  • Experience working with tokens, theming, and scalable component architecture
  • A keen eye for design details, user experience, and accessibility best practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with both design and engineering teams

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Theming APIs, CSS-in-JS, Tailwind, or Styled Components
  • Contributions to open-source design systems
  • Previous experience scaling design systems for large teams or enterprise applications

Contract Details

  • Duration: 2-4 months
  • Location: Remote / Hybrid
  • Start Date: ASAP

If you’re passionate about bridging the gap between design and development, we’d love to hear from you!
