Brand Design Lead - Central Design Studio

YOUR MISSION
As a Brand Design Lead in our newly established Central Design Studio, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team (brand copy, content, visual design, motion) to develop a world-class brand identity system across all of our key touchpoints. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, dedication to their craft, and an insatiable curiosity for impactful experiences. You will manage and mentor a growing team of brand designers.
- Evolution, expansion, and maintenance of the MURAL brand experience, including principles and quality standards.
- Management and coaching of a small team of brand designers to build scalable systems and playbooks.
- Partnerships with external agencies and internal stakeholders to help align business and brand strategy.
- Brand experimentation through research.
- Close collaboration with essential supporting disciplines in your team: brand copy, content, visual design, and motion.
- Owner and facilitator of weekly design critique sessions for the Central Design Studio.
- Collaboration with our marketing and executive teams.
- Be an active champion of design and execution quality through design critique and review processes.
YOUR PROFILE
- 10+ years of expertise in brand design.
- 2+ years of people management experience.
- A portfolio demonstrating experience developing brand identity for digital products.
- Good taste in modern product design with the ability to find balance between elegance and fun.
- Ability to thrive in fast, ambitious and highly collaborative environments.
- An understanding that feedback is a gift.
