Brand Designer

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Brand Designer to join our growing Design organization. This role will join the team responsible for the design of Grammarly’s internal and external brand and for design across all marketing channels. The Brand Designer will drive the evolution of Grammarly’s brand through thoughtful design exploration and critique and will help scale brand experience across touchpoints and media.
Your impact
In this role, you will focus on elevating Grammarly's aesthetic internally and externally. This will involve managing stakeholders to resolve ambiguity and set expectations on delivery, timelines, and creative process. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with team members across our global offices to ensure consistency and organization for branded collateral.
- Within your first 30 days, you will work with the Recruiting, Employer Brand, and Workplace Experience teams to get familiar with and assess our brand expression across various touchpoints. You will identify opportunities to strengthen our employer brand through visual design.
- At 3 months, you will establish a workflow with your partner teams to ensure consistent visual design in brand collateral across our various teams and locations.
- At 6 months, you will execute designs for campaigns relating to recruitment and employee experience across various media and office locations.
- At 9 months, you will take the initiative to introduce improvements to the design of our Employer Brand. You will work proactively with the Workplace Experience team to add new, unique, and best-in-class brand collateral.
- Beyond your first year, you will demonstrate growth in your role as a Brand Designer by learning new tools, experimenting with new media, and developing and implementing creative plans.

- Can create unique and visually engaging illustrations that adhere to our brand aesthetic.
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of typography, color, and composition, and knows how to use visual design principles to create memorable brand experiences effectively.
- Is familiar with industry-standard design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects as well as Figma.
- Is familiar with animation and video production.
- Possesses a familiarity with using editorial design tools like InDesign for books and other printed collateral.
