Carrot Fertility is searching for a dynamic Design Lead passionate about building innovative brands and guiding employers toward family-forming benefits for all.
We’re looking for someone who is excited not just about driving a world-class brand but also doing the hands-on design work. You will have the opportunity to help build the company’s presence across our website, social media, email, and other materials, educating key audiences, driving demand, and increasing revenue. You’ll also partner with our Sales and Customer Success teams to identify stories and ultimately produce compelling visual pieces that engage and educate current customers, prospective buyers, consultants, and Carrot members.

The role will report to Carrot’s Senior Director of Integrated Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Concept and drive high-quality, high-velocity production of visual materials, producing wireframes, initial graphic concepts, and final deliverables for emails, whitepapers, advertising, presentations, slides, landing pages, event design, and more while remaining flexible through revisions and paying keen attention to detail
- Create and evolve scalable design systems, brand guidelines, and workflows that allow our internal teams and external agencies to create materials at scale
- Manage external agencies and freelancers to ensure regular throughput and consistent style across all mediums
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify opportunities to create educational materials for a variety of audiences, establish new storytelling mediums, and bring our brand to life across all audience experiences
- Report on design’s work, using insights to make recommendations for new content and topics
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of design experience with innovative brands
- An exceptional portfolio that showcases your design skills with a wide breadth of marketing executions including print, emails, web design, paid media, events, social, signage, presentations, and collateral
- Effective communication and visual storytelling skills to create concepts that inspire and motivate a variety of audiences including employers, health plans, and Carrot members
- Experience with multimedia content creation (video, audio)
- Comfort with the ambiguity inherent in a fast-paced startup environment
- Experience with benefits and/or healthcare is a plus but not required
- Ability to blend marketing art and science to deliver impactful, data-driven results
