What You’ll Do

• Lead, and manage, a growing team of designers
• Execute at every stage of the design lifecycle from concept to delivery
• Contribute to design thinking at the company, resulting in tangible improvements across our portfolio of products – as well as to how we approach and solve customer problems.
• Establish the Lark design system
• Lead co-creation initiatives with key strategic health partners
• Help scale design process, suggesting and implementing design standards, tools and methodologies
• Working with the clinical, content and data science teams, design engaging chatbot content

What You’ll Need

• Experience working on healthcare products across multiple platforms
• A strong sense of user empathy
• Problem solver who can be effective in situations with limited information, building a solution from first principles and communicating it to stakeholders
• Humble, driven, and motivated to ship the best product
• Proven track record of being an exceptional people manager and creative coach
• Strong presentation and influencing skills at the executive level
• Lead a high-performing Design team to create beautiful, compelling, brand-enhancing product
• Has used qualitative and quantitative methodologies to uncover customer pain points and propose solutions

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in visual design, interaction design, human interaction sociology, psychology, or related disciplines
• 7-10 years of relevant digital design experience, ideally in a B2C and B2B healthcare environment 
• 2-5 years’ experience managing and leading a team
• Proven track record in launching both iOS and Android apps of the highest standards

Working at Lark 

Lark offers the option to work remotely when both the employee and the job are suited to such an arrangement and when the employee and their manager are in alignment with the work location and working hours. This option is only applicable to U.S. employees. To accommodate all employees, we have identified the “core” period of the day during which all employees are required to work for scheduled meetings, syncs, scrums between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Pacific time. The company is headquartered in Mountain View, CA.
