Scout RFP is a strategic sourcing software company that helps procurement departments become heroes within their companies. We are looking for a Director of User Experience who is passionate about building products that customers love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll-out strategic sourcing features that deliver Scout's vision and strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage and mentor a team of designers that will help improve the experience, vision, mission and purpose.
  • Work with product management on project objectives and allocate resources to achieve the objectives as measured against plans.
  • Define design strategy, UX architecture, style guides and patterns to drive consistency throughout the user journey.
  • Define and own a varied menu of UX design processes for project initiatives, including ideation, user-flow analysis, wire-framing, interaction design and execution.
  • Be the voice of UX and champion ongoing improvements by considering customer feedback, metrics and usability feedbackExperience in cross-platform web UX.
  • Attract and retain new design talent to meet growing demand.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of proven working experience in user experience.
  • Experience managing a team of designers Strong portfolio of design work for both interaction and design both individually and indirectly through team of direct reports.
  • Web design experience.
  • Experience working in SaaS a plus.
  • MS/BS degree in Design, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
