Position Summary
Harness has one of the premier brands in the DevOps industry. And now we’re looking for and talented graphic designer to add artistry and firepower to that brand via a variety of marketing channels and campaigns.
We’re looking for an experienced designer who will help bring our mission and brand experiences to life with exceptional visual design.
You have a winning mix of creative energy, proven ability to develop collateral and visual design from concept to execution, willingness to get hands-on in partnership with other collaborators; and a strong attention to detail.
One thing we will look for in particular is experience in producing outstanding work about complicated subjects (e.g. enterprise software), and some real DNA in being able to bring these complicated subjects to life via visual storytelling.
You will work under the supervision of the Design Manager to produce high-quality work. If you have a sharp eye for details, can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we’d like to meet you.
About You
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-2 years graphic design experience (bonus points for software experience)
- Time management, prioritization, and organizational skills are key
- Ability to shift priorities and help other team members as needed
- Good humor and positive, can-do attitude is required
- Use various techniques and tools to create drafts, models and prototypes
- Produce final design solutions (banners, interfaces, presentation decks)
- Proficient in design software (Webflow, Figma, Invision) & Graphics Editing Tools (Adobe Creative Cloud & related Apps)
- Office Tools (Google & Microsoft)
- Understanding of visual elements (Typography, Layout, Colour Theory…)
- Eye for Detail
- Previous work experience with a Startup or In-house is ideal but not mandatory
