eero is looking for a Growth Product Designer for the Services team. Your mandate: design network security and parental controls services on top of eero’s hardware. Design is core to our identity. Every part of our experience — the product’s physical form, its packaging, our apps, and even the company’s name — reflects this. The role requires working across various mediums — iOS, Android, web and email — and across consumer and enterprise channels.

Who are you?
eero is looking for a Growth Product Designer with:

  • Experience designing mobile applications — ideally subscription products — showing high user growth.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a “progress over perfection” environment with continuous iteration while working within technical constraints, and business requirements.
  • Strong ability to present work, explain your rationale, and incorporate feedback.
  • Experience working with quantitative and qualitative research including usability testing, analytics, user interviews, and A/B testing.
  • Experience working with a design organization, regularly incorporating feedback, applying and contributing to a design system.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design methodologies, design thinking processes, and usability principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with organization skills.
  • Experience in a software development workflow and tooling including Sketch, Abstract, InVision, and JIRA.

What you’ll do:

As a Product Designer on the Services team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining, designing, reviewing and testing interfaces, components, systems, and frameworks for eero customers.
  • Using design thinking techniques including user research, agile design iteration, prototyping, and usability testing.
  • Engaging with customers to understand their needs and design experiences that guide them through onboarding, education, and understanding eero Services.
  • Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams from product, engineering, customer experience, and marketing.
  • Regularly using, improving, and contributing to the eero Design System, and collaborating with eero Design to ensure consistency.
  • Presenting designs to stakeholders at various stages throughout the design process.

Additional:

  • 5+ years of experience as a self-managed contributor, or member of a Product Design team, working on desktop and mobile products.
  • A body of work that showcases confident, diverse, and thoughtful typography, layout, visual design, and interaction design.
  • Experience and passion for Security and Parental Controls.
