Qualifications
This role is part of the Experience Organization, made up of passionate people who work together to drive user research, UX and visual design, technical writing, prototyping (and more!) with the goal to create best in class enterprise software products.
The experience organization is seeking an experienced Communication Designer to lead the storytelling and creation of executive communication materials ranging from presentations for key organizational and customer meetings to visionary product and experience demos for new product experiences for use in a range of mediums including presentations, videos, commercials and company events.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the Lead Communications Designer on projects for Company Events, Board of Directors Meetings and key customer communications.
- Craft and design presentations that communicate vision and strategy through a number of mediums including presentations, product demonstrations and videos.
- Where needed, work with outside vendors and partners to execute on key projects.
- Work directly with the Global Head of Design and other executive leaders to understand their vision and translate the message and content into visual communications.
- Partner with designers throughout the Experience Org to understand the product’s user experience and showcase the best design innovation from the team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in crafting digital visual communications and storytelling in presentations (i.e. decks), product demonstrations and other mediums (video production experience is a PLUS)
- Ability to translate complex product and technology concepts into clear visualizations and illustrations that help the audience comprehend the information in a simple format, and feel inspired.
- Fluency across a number of communications approaches such as presentations, illustration, storyboards, journey maps, service blueprints and audio/visual communications.
- Excellent verbal communications and writing skills
- Exceptional command of graphic design and presentation tools such as PowerPoint, Keynote, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- An inspiring portfolio that demonstrates your work and showcases your ability to deliver visual communications in a number of mediums
- Expert knowledge of graphic design, typography, color theory, UI design and layout principles
- Experience creating visual design that meets product, marketing, and engineering requirements in a cohesive, systematic, and user-focused manner
- Excellent collaboration, teamwork and communications skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fluid, fast-paced and truly agile environment
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in product design and communications design
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Visual Design, Visual Communication, or similarly interdisciplinary fields are preferred or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
