Lead Product Designer, Enterprise Products
About the roleÂ
We’re seeking a talented and driven Lead Product Designer to join the growing Design team at Chime, where we are working hard to better the financial lives of our members. You’ll be working as team lead for our enterprise tools, creating the foundation of a design system for our customer service agents and operations teams that ensure amazing experiences for each of our members. You will help us transform complex workflows into simple, intuitive, and efficient experiences. You’ll be a voice and relentless advocate for our customer service agents, our frontline of service to our members.Â
As a Lead Product Designer, you’ll contribute at each phase of the design process and will have the opportunity to lead other designers and help improve our design team processes. You know that good user experience goes beyond pixels and you’re able to influence your team to create experiences that hit the highest bar. You will facilitate cross-functional collaboration, which will help your team build holistic and effective products with a clear strategy. You will also help set the gold standard for design execution by collaborating closely with the Member Support and Risk Design Manager, and together you’ll establish a vision for the future of Chime’s customer service and tooling.
In this role, you can expect to
- Champion high caliber design throughout Chime. Be a role model and mentor to other designersÂ
- Own full-stack design solutions, from workflow definition to high-fidelity mockups and prototypes
- Design products not as a singular feature, but with a holistic approach and system-level view of Chime’s enterprise products
- Craft and iterate upon our internal tools design language system
- Collaborate cross-functionally with our Member Support and Risk teams to evaluate, dissect and optimize the data and workflow needs of our internal users
- Help define the short-term and long-term vision of the agent experience to guide our product development decisions through the story-telling of designÂ
- Present work to, collaborate with, and influence teams of product managers, engineers, researchers, and other internal stakeholders
To thrive in this role, you have    Â
- A bachelor’s degree in graphic design, product design, HCI, or related design field (or applicable experience)
- 6+ years of proven history shipping enterprise and/or internal product experiences
- Experience leading and mentoring other designers, and a knack for inspiring others to be their best every day
- Ability to self-start and tackle highly complex problems in fundamentally different ways and weigh the pros/cons of eachÂ
- Ability to balance business objectives with user needs. You represent both sides and balance your design decisions, getting the best possible outcome for both
- A relentless desire to push boundaries and innovate in a regulated industry for the greater good of our team and our users
