WHAT WE DO
We are seeking a motion designer who is experienced in developing, designing, and executing a variety of animation and motion graphic projects. You will work alongside Brand Creative teams to conceptualize video projects and bring them to life. This role will support our creative, marketing, and performance teams and produce content that will live across our digital channels.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the Brand Marketing and User Acquisition teams to ideate unique, shareable, and stand-out video assets for Postmates campaigns, partnerships, advertising, and social channels.
- Produce motion graphics for a variety of uses, from titles to animated transitions to 3D modeling, and from short-form social posts to long-form product demos.
- Come up with concepts, create storyboards, and design using different styles and approaches depending on the media format.
- Collaborate with Writers, Designers, and User Acquisition Managers to bring stories and concepts to life.
- Develop thoughtful creative work that delivers on the overall strategy.
- Integrate music, voice over, and sound effects to enhance video content.
- Maintain a consistent style and assure all motion graphic assets are in line with the Postmates Brand. Always looking to push the quality of the work and craft forward.
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of video and motion graphics experience, preferably with lifestyle and consumer-focused brands.
- Expertise in After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Proficiency in Sketch and Figma.
- Experience in Maya, Rhino, Cinema 4D not required, but a huge plus.
- Ability to be collaborative and flexible in working with diverse teams and with shifting priorities.
- An entrepreneurial drive in getting things done from project initiation to delivery.
- Experience working with Content Producers, Copywriters, Designers, Photographers, and Brand Marketing leads.
- Great attention to detail, and an eye for color, composition, typography, lighting, and rhythm.
- Extensive knowledge of post-production workflow and the latest post-production techniques.
- Sense of humor preferred—okay, required.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design or related field.
