We are looking for an exceptional design leader to join our growing team at Nightfall. As Product Design Lead, you will drive execution, provide leadership, foster people development, recruit top-level talent as well as deliver hands-on design work.

Responsibilities

• Start with the customer – define and execute a user research strategy to expose customer needs 
• Partner with the Product team in outlining organizational goals and align design team execution to those goals 
• Design and communicate your vision to the company using mock-ups, documentation, prototypes, and storytelling
• Define project requirements in collaboration with Product Managers and Engineers
• Be a user advocate in product decisions with cross-functional peers during tradeoff, timeline, and experience discussionsImpact business goals through effective and efficient development of design solutions
• Participate and shape the design team’s culture

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping world-class products across various platforms
• A portfolio of design projects that shows an understanding of product strategy, design process and strong craft skills
• Low ego and an eagerness to give and receive constructive feedback in a transparent, collaborative work environment
• Collaborative approach and belief that the best products are built through a partnership with Product, Design, and Engineering
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions through the lens of the user and the user problems you are solving 
• Deep empathy for users and a passion for solving their data security problems
• Experience mentoring, leading or working closely with other designers
