Overview

As a Product Designer, you’ll have the opportunity to redefine how users interact with an entire industry of products and services. Video Security no longer means painstakingly scrolling through a video grid in an effort to uncover any insights. At Verkada, you’ll bring together products like cameras, access control, environmental sensors, and emerging tech like machine learning to deliver actionable insights to the user in an easy-to-use, intuitive UI. 

You will be initially designing for mobile products, but as your skills and impact grows, you will have the opportunity to broaden into more Verkada products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and product managers in a highly agile development environment.
• Run inspiring and formal brainstorming sessions with engineers, product, and other designers.
• Build clear, concise and intuitive UX/UI with everything from low-fidelity wireframes to pixel perfect final designs.
• Manage multiple projects and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of product design or mobile product design experience.
• A portfolio showcasing work.
• A drive to solve complex problems with simple and elegant solutions.
• Proven experience in creative problem solving and partnering with product, engineering, and other designers to do so. 
• Experienced in creating and integrating animated visuals and interactive design.
• Proficient in: Sketch, Figma, Zeppelin, Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop, After Effects, and Illustrator).
