The Role


As a Product Designer for MyVeeva for Doctors, you will craft a useful, intuitive, and beautiful experience for our users. With the support of the Product Design team, you will work alongside Product Managers, Quality Assurance, and Engineering to translate customer and user needs into well-designed experiences across multiple channels, including online and mobile applications. 

 

This is a great opportunity for someone who is excited about product design from the early stages of a product. You will have a direct impact on the end-user experience of MyVeeva for Doctors.

 

MyVeeva for Doctors is where health care providers go to connect with life sciences companies about the latest product information and best practices.

What You’ll Do

  • We are seeking a Product Designer who can work remotely, in close collaboration with Designers and Product Management, to design for mobile and desktop. You are laser-focused on user-centered design principles but you also are experienced and thoughtful in finding the balance between user experience and the goals of the business. You are passionate about what you do and excited to work with a team of experienced professionals.
  • Turn product requirements into intuitive and efficient experiences for our users, based on UI best practices, an understanding of the business, and user research
  • Develop concepts, wireframes, user flows, mock-ups, and other design artifacts as needed for product development and client demos, using tools like Figma.
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering & QA to deliver the final product
  • Help establish and analyze metrics to validate feature success
  • Help develop and maintain a design system, ensuring patterns are implemented correctly
  • Organize and conduct user research and usability tests

Requirements

  • 3+ years creating compelling user experiences
  • A good balance of interaction design and visual design skills
  • Experience designing for tablet and mobile
  • An online portfolio that demonstrates your design talent, including navigation, user flows, information design, and high fidelity mockups
  • Experience conducting field research, organizing and conducting usability tests, and deriving and analyzing relevant metrics
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of how comps translate to code
  • Degree in relevant field (HCI, Computer Science, Interaction Design, etc.)

Nice to Have

  • Experience building a design system
  • Knowledge of technologies including React.js, CSS, HTML
  • Experience working with enterprise Software as a Service and/or consumer products
