Ellation, LLC. is seeking a Program Manager, Design in San Francisco, CA

Summary of Duties:

Review the design team’s development process by managing requirement definition from Product, development of design deliverables (rough designs, wireframes, and application ready assets), and timely delivery to dependent application teams. Leverage previous onsite experience in Moldova, working knowledge, and business relationships to smooth communication between our Moldova and US based teams; always ensuring cross country synchronization of development efforts. Review cross functional release schedules for the Design team. Identify dependencies and drive timely delivery, optimizing Design team development. Manage creation of User Interface and User experience (UI/UX) deliverables; ensuring alignment on priorities. Review cross team development across geographically dispersed Design and Development teams. Provide input and output deliverables spanning geographically dispersed development teams (Android, iOS, Web, and living room applications) located in San Francisco, USA and Chisinau, Moldova. Work with Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure standardized development process and synchronization of Design Team with the rest of the organization. Identify risk by providing risk mitigation options and driving timely decisions. Highlight and oversee scope, schedule, and cost tradeoff decisions. Communicate design team program status to PMO and other key company stakeholders and management. Review requirement definition for design tools and other processes working with geographically dispersed design team based in SF, USA and Chisinau, Moldova. Act in role of product owner for design operations-related initiatives. Drive the projects from concept creation through execution. Review backlog, tasks, and schedule. Provide communication and report to stakeholders. Assist with logistical needs within the design team.

Position requires travel to Ellation’s Moldova office on an as needed basis.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience
in the position or a related occupation. Applicants must have demonstrated experience with:

Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodology;
Creating release plans including requirement definition, estimation, resource allocation, capacity planning, and producing metrics to track team progress;
JIRA, Portfolio, Confluence, and Excel to create visual timelines and artifacts;
Using JIRA to manage Agile process mechanics for cross team dependencies;
Design systems/documentation to guide buildout of internal design management tool including requirement definition;
Industry best practices and 3rd tools such as, Zepplin, InVision, Sketch, Abstract, Framer, or Figma;
Crunchyroll product domain building design information architecture to streamline delivery of design into production;
Graphic design;
Web design;
Mobile design;
HTML & CSS; and
Adobe application.
