As an Interaction Designer, you’ll take on complex tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use designs—from the first-time user to the sophisticated expert. Achieving this requires collaboration with our teams of Analysts, Researchers, Engineers, Product Managers and Stakeholders throughout the design process. From user flows and wireframes, to creating mockups and prototypes. At each stage, you will anticipate what our users need, advocate for them and ensure that the final product enables them to become more accurate, efficient and effective in their business.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide creative, thoughtful solutions
  • Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and/or high fidelity prototypes
  • Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates
  • Advocate for the prioritization of design centered changes, refinements, and improvements
  • Create innovative interactive designs that are grounded in best-in-practice usability principles
  • Support Usability Testing of interactive prototypes and make design changes based on learnings
  • Develop and maintain design standards and an asset library
  • Participate in the use case creation and requirements gathering process to produce solid business and technical requirements focused on the user experience
  • Creation of current-state and desired state documentation to gain alignment while setting the visionary path of the solutions we deliver

 

What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in design or 6 years of equivalent practical design experience
  • Expertise in responsive/fluid design web platform
  • Ability to lead and ideate products from scratch and improve features, all with a user-centered design process
  • Your portfolio shows your range of skills: UX, research, UI, storytelling, persona creation and design process
  • Deep knowledge of visual design process, with the desire to continually improve at every stage of design and development
  • Proactive personality and conscientious problem solver
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and shifting priorities
  • Excellent communication skills, flexibility and willingness to co-lead collaboration with various cross-functional teams
