Senior Product Designer, Growth
About the roleÂ
We are hiring for a Senior Designer on our Growth Product Design team. As a designer focusing on the first experiences our members have, you’ll help millions of Americans get financial peace of mind as you bring your product vision to life. You’ll be a team lead and an individual contributor, owning critical design projects end-to-end while mentoring other designers on the team. Your work will make the process of getting set up with a new bank simple and clear for our members.
This job cannot be performed remotely in the state of Colorado.
In this role, you can expect toÂ
- Put our members first in all decisions. Don’t lessen their problems, eliminate them.
- Act as a champion for high caliber design and experiences throughout Chime
- Work on products not as a singular feature, but as a scalable experience
- Balance member needs, design goals, and business requirementsÂ
- Produce hand-sketches, flow-charts, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and build prototypes (as needed) to illustrate the entire experience of a concept
- Present work to, collaborate with, and influence product managers, engineers, research, and other stakeholders
- Contribute to our design standards and push them forward
To thrive in this role, you have    Â
- Formal training in product design, HCI, graphic design or related fields
- Curiosity and compassion for your work and those you work with
- A proven track record of solutions that achieve successful outcomes in consumer mobile and/or web products
- Owned product strategies and managed work from start to finishÂ
- Experience in mentoring and giving feedback to help level up
- Worked inclusively across teams to drive user-centric solutions
- A strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methods
