ABOUT THE JOB
As the Sr. Production Designer, you'll put the finishing touches on the design to support the Creative Team’s ambition to establish and maintain the brand. You’ll be joining a team that supports Instacart's growing brand and creative expression. This team is responsible for creating memorable and engaging brand design, visuals, campaigns, and messaging across our marketing, product, and internal & external culture.
The Sr. Production Designer is the final checkpoint in a creative design process. You’ll review and make updates to final copy, images, layouts, and content across a range of media from digital and print. You’ll ensure the brand standards across color, typography, and imagery are according to our templates and guidelines, and are responsible for creative versioning for projects that require multiple iterations.
- Review, refine, edit, and prepare files for final deliverable, which includes but is not limited to: proofing, retouching, pre- and post-production, versioning, updating content with new images or copy as needed
- Manage files from external vendors, contractors, and agencies as needed to support creative deliverables, file tracking, and versioning
- Communicate with cross-functional partners through the implementation phase to realize design vision for final execution and deliverables
- Collaborate closely with Creative Operations, Marketing, and external Teams to develop and maintain consistency across file naming, taxonomy, organization, tracking, and versioning
ABOUT YOU
- 4+ years experience in production design in-house or at creative agency
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Meticulous sense of detail, highly organized
- Demonstrates the ability to work confidently through multiple files, edits, and versioning in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with Creative Designers and Program Managers
- Ability to understand and discuss creative design, related to technical specifications and best practices for digital and print
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Excellent in process improvement and identifying opportunities to create sustainable and scalable solutions across a diverse range of projects and platforms as it relates to production design
