Senior UX Researcher

About Us:

What makes the difference between a product that's engaging, compelling, and easy to use and one that's frustrating, broken, and complicated? The answer is user experience. Here at UserTesting, our mission is to help our customers create great experiences. We enable every organization to deliver the best customer experience powered by human insight.

About the team:

The LCE team partners with high-profile clients who have over 1M spend on the ProServ team and UserTesting’s platform. Our focus is to set our customers up for success, enabling and executing research through strong working partnerships.

Work on the team consists of end-to-end mixed method research; everything from conceptual/formative research all the way to Usability and Benchmarking. For any given project, UX Researchers manage study kickoff and delivery with multiple client stakeholders and ensure the work is impactful and meets research goals and objectives.

The Opportunity:

The Senior UX Researcher partners with a Principal UX Researcher alongside Project Managers and other team members as appropriate in delivering high-value insights across the UserTesting customer base. • Maintain in-depth knowledge of research methodologies and data analysis techniques.
  • Learn and apply new techniques as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan, analyze, and report on user-centered research.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience with a variety of user-centered research tools and methods
  • Ability to synthesize and distill wide-ranging insights into coherent and compelling narratives for customer teams with varying degrees of experience.
  • Detail-oriented, able to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced and highly interactive environment.
  • Self-directed with excellent time management skills.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in behavioral science or closely related discipline. These fields may include but are not limited to  Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Interface Design, or Computer Science.
  • At least 4-5 years or relevant experience in Human Factors as a UX Researcher, Analyst, or similar role in a professional environment.
