HOVER is looking for a Senior Brand Designer to lead art direction and help drive the brand vision across our corporate website, content and print. As the in-house creative dedicated to Marketing you will have the opportunity to make a big impact and evolve HOVER’s brand. You will partner with Marketing and Product Design with support from outside agencies and freelance creative to evolve the visual strategy and our creative process.

You will contribute by: 

You will create and refine compelling designs, elevating HOVER’s brand and customer experience. Your creative direction will inform high visibility projects including HOVER’s brand guidelines and website redesign. You have a strong point of view and are able to articulate your design concepts in a clear and thoughtful way. You are an organized, team player who can bring solutions and efficiencies to the creative process. You have experience building brand and designing for both digital and print, and you are excited to bring your ideas to the table.

Your background includes:  

• 5+ years of experience at an agency or in-house design team 
• Strong creative portfolio and experience concepting, implementing and evolving visual design guidelines for a brand 
• Expert understanding of the elements of design, including typography, color, illustration, composition, and the ability to apply these principles/establish consistencies across various touchpoints (web, email, social, sales materials, printed collateral for events) 
• Detail-oriented, self-starter who can effectively prioritize and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills; ability to clearly present your design decisions and process to anyone in the company
• Demonstrated experience working with a design system – curation and maintenance
• Expertise in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, Invision, Zeplin)
• Startup experience preferred
• BA/BS degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design or related field
