General Purpose: The User Experience (UX) Designer will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing new user journeys for D2C.

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Translate business requirments into user flows, wireframes,prototypes as well as visual assets that lead to intuitive user experiences
  • Create compelling designs and prototypes that bring concepts and creative ideas to life
  • Partner with web & eCommerce leads, developers, and copywriters to define strategic areas of opportunity and implement solutions
  • Create and implement content organization schemes and system workflows
  • Partner across the organization on new product launches and ensure the entire user experience is consistent with existing brand guidelines
  • Collaborate with design lead, web developers, and copywriters to guide user experience and implement best-in-class solutions that are both intuitive to use and drive performance
  • Partner with analytics teams to identify optimal user journeys
  • Facilitate usability sessions, conduct UX research interviews, and prototype reviews
  • Provide strategic leadership across the organization and be the voice at the table for our users
  • The position requires a deep understanding of large-scale responsive web initiatives, user-centered design, usability, information design, interaction design, and goal-oriented design

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 4-6+ years in UX design, experience working closely with developers
  • BS/BA in design, engineering, CS, or other technical field
  • Fluency in roles, methods, processes, and best practices for user-centered design
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, or Javascript and a strong understand of semantic html and page hierarchy concepts
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams & a fast/agile environment
  • Proficiency in tools such as Sketch, InVision, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
  • ecommerce website design experience a plus
  • Proven project management skills with track record of driving user-centric, intuitive experience outcomes
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences at varying levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of Esports, PC gaming, and PC building a big plus
  • Examples of work samples / websites / portfolios appreciated
