Zoom Video Communications is hiring a Visual/UX Web Designer to work closely with creative and technical teams to create design solutions for zoom.us, including mobile design, landing pages, banners, and illustrations. We’re looking for an adaptive and resourceful designer with a wealth of experience and a willingness to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. You will wear multiple design hats in this role; it’s important to have a strong visual design background but your designs need to be fundamentally driven by user experience and business requirements. You will work closely with marketing, engineering, product and leadership teams to create user-friendly designs that drive company growth. This position is based out of our Denver, CO office.

Responsibilities

• Understand and work within existing visual guidelines to create compelling, elegant and brand-centric design solutions

• Work with stakeholders to design updates for existing pages and components

• Understand business priorities and contribute creative design solutions for A/B tests as well as personalized page variations

• Own design projects and bring them to completion through multiple rounds of approvals and edits, while maintaining a positive and persistent attitude

• Create designs that help market and promote products and features, helping to visually communicate our product offerings and benefits

• Assist with numerous campaigns and initiatives that drive revenue and company growth

Requirements

• Bachelors degree 

• 3+ years design experience preferred

• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs

• Extensive experience with figma, Sketch, InvisionApp, Zeplin

• Knowledge of HTML / CSS and the design/developer handoff process 

• Detail-oriented and passionate with an ability to collaborate and compromise

• Strong design aesthetic, an understanding of branding principles, style guides, layout, typography, and systematic design rationale

• Strong conceptual, problem solving and time-management skills; a broad thinker who is able to offer a variety of design solutions

• Understand design, business and web development requirements

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

• Passion and aptitude for presenting design to various stakeholders

• Enthusiasm for strategic design and testing initiatives 

• Experience designing for ADA compliance, responsive design, modular or components-based design a plus

• Experience in high tech or SaaS company is a plus
