Role Overview
The Director of Global Strategic Marketing is a strategic leader responsible for defining product strategy, driving innovation, and leading global marketing for the MONARCH Platform, Bronchoscopy. This role partners cross‑functionally to translate clinical and customer insights into differentiated products, strong market positioning, and successful global commercialization.
Key Responsibilities
Product Management & Portfolio Strategy: Define vision, roadmap, and lifecycle strategy aligned with global business objectives and long-range financial plan
Innovation Leadership: Partner with R&D and cross-functional development team to translate customer needs into scalable, differentiated product solutions
Global Marketing: Lead brand, value proposition development, positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies across global markets
Commercial Alignment: Collaborate with regional commercial teams to drive successful product launches, market expansion, and annual planning
Market & Customer Insights: Leverage clinical, economic, and competitive insights to shape pipeline and product portfolio decisions
Business Performance: Guide pricing strategy, forecast modeling, and business case development for new opportunities
Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing product management and global marketing team; foster a data-driven, results-oriented team culture
Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with sales, marketing, clinical, regulatory, education, and finance teams to ensure aligned global commercial execution
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
10+ years in marketing, product management, strategy, or related field with progressive scope and responsibility
Experience in complex, technical healthcare markets required; robotics medtech experience preferred
Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and financial acumen with experience building business cases for new opportunities
Proven leadership ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and global teams to execution
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to translate clinical and technical concepts into compelling value propositions
What Sets You Apart
Experience with robotics, interventional pulmonology, or thoracic oncology
Track record of launching innovative products in global markets
Ability to balance strategic vision with execution
Other:
Ability to travel up to 25% (domestic and international) primarily for customer visits and congresses
This role is required to be onsite in the Santa Clara office at least 3-4 days per week
The anticipated base pay for this role is $172,000 to $297,850.

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). Employees are eligible to participate in the Johnson & Johnson long-term incentive plan (LTI).
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year
Sick time – 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of California/Colorado – 48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – 56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – 13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
