Impact In This Role

The Director of MRO and PD Services is a strategic commercial leader responsible for growing the company’s Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) and Product Development (PD) Services portfolio. This role combines operational expertise with business development acumen - driving service revenue, deepening customer partnerships, and delivering high-impact technical solutions that strengthen long-term value creation.

You will report to the Vice President Sales and Business Development. 

What You’ll Be Doing

Commercial Growth & Strategy
  • Own the strategy and P&L for MRO and PD Services, driving sustainable growth, margin expansion, and customer loyalty
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and emerging markets; develop service-based revenue streams that complement core product sales
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to build and position MRO and PD offerings as key differentiators in the market
  • Develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and value propositions that align with customer needs and profitability goals

Customer & Market Leadership

  • Serve as the executive sponsor for key enterprise accounts, ensuring alignment between service delivery, innovation, and business outcomes
  • Translate customer feedback and market insights into actionable improvements and new service concepts
  • Strengthen strategic relationships with OEMs, distributors, and technology partners to enhance service scope and competitiveness

Operational Execution

  • Lead high-performing teams across MRO and PD functions to deliver reliable, efficient, and innovative service solutions
  • Implement scalable processes for service delivery, project execution, and lifecycle support
  • Ensure best-in-class quality, responsiveness, and uptime through continuous improvement and digital enablement

Leadership & Culture

  • Build, mentor, and empower a results-driven organization focused on accountability, agility, and customer value
  • Champion a growth mindset across the team—balancing technical depth with commercial excellence
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure tight alignment between commercial, operational, and engineering functions
Desired Traits
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial leadership within manufacturing, industrial services, or B2B technology environments
  • Proven success in growing service-based revenue and leading P&L responsibility
  • Deep understanding of MRO operations, product development services, and customer lifecycle management
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with experience in pricing, forecasting, and business modeling
  • Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and executive communication skills
  • MRO and PD service revenue growth and profitability
  • Customer retention and satisfaction scores
  • Cross-sell and attach rate of services to core product sales
  • Operational efficiency and project delivery timelines
