In only four years our solutions have been adopted by health plans covering over 15 million lives, while our revenues and company size have quadrupled.  That growth combined with capital raises totaling $106M positions us extremely well for continued success. Opportunity Overview:

We’ve grown extremely fast, and with substantial venture capital backing. We now need a strategic product marketing wizard to lead our product marketing function. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will own Cohere’s positioning, messaging, packaging, and content development strategies and execution, while managing our growing product marketing team.   The work will be fast-paced - requiring scrappiness, flexibility, curiosity, and grace under pressure.

Last but not least: People who succeed here are empathetic teammates who are candid, kind, caring, and embody our core values and principles. We believe that diverse, inclusive teams make the most impactful work. Cohere is deeply invested in ensuring that we have a supportive, growth-oriented environment that works for everyone.

What you will do:

  • Define, maintain and update Cohere’s overall product marketing strategy and execution to help ensure achievement of Cohere growth goals.
  • Collaborate with product management, corporate strategy, sales, solutions, and marketing teams to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with buyers.
  • Develop and execute content development strategies that leverage our positioning through compelling content across multiple media - pitch decks, blogs, white papers, videos, podcasts, by-line articles--all of our market-facing content.
  • Coordinate content development with demand generation and corporate marketing activities, i.e., content-campaign strategies.
  • Develop and maintain intelligence on our target markets & buyers - who they are, their needs and their buying criteria.
  • Develop and maintain intelligence on our competition, in collaboration with other key stakeholders, and how they are positioned.
  • Understand and support our sales team. Develop and manage training on the problems we solve for our buyers and users, and manage sales tools development.
  • Plan the launches of new products and releases of existing products, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
  • Build, train, guide and mentor a product marketing team that will grow as Cohere grows.
  • Assess the ongoing effectiveness of our marketing strategies.

Your qualifications:

  • 8+ years of successful healthcare product marketing experience. Experience marketing to health insurance plans is a major plus.
  • 3+ years experience managing marketing staff and functions.
  • Highly strategic with experience in identifying target markets and buyers, and crafting positioning that generates interest and qualified leads.
  • Superlative content development skills and experience; excellent writing skills.
  • Familiarity with modern product marketing concepts and structures.
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

We can’t wait to learn more about you and meet you at Cohere Health!
