The Opportunity

We are seeking a Software Sales Executive with extensive experience selling financial markets enterprise software and/or FinTech solutions. The Software Sales Executive is responsible for identifying, contacting, qualifying, and developing new prospects and expanding existing accounts. This is an opportunity for an experienced software sales leader with strong capital markets knowledge to be an integral part of a rapidly growing fintech.  A successful history of selling capital markets software to banks, asset managers, hedge funds and large corporate markets will be looked upon very favorably.

What You’ll Do

  • You will manage the entire enterprise software sales process from prospecting to closing
  • Create and manage a strategic sales plan for your respective territory
  • Take ownership of the internal coordination of the pre-sales support process
  • Develop a strategy for execution and delivery of high-quality client presentations targeted at business heads and C level executives.
  • Establish a robust account strategy for complex solutions within a sales team environment while working to develop a continuous pipeline of new accounts
  • Manage the software sales process: generate leads, pricing, and managing and negotiating the proposal through deal closing
  • Collaborate with all internal teams including Pre-Sales, Product Management, Operations, Legal & Compliance, to close deals and ensure a smooth transition from prospect status to client status.

Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of financial software sales experience with complex solutions and long sales cycles or relevant experience
  • A proven record for selling complex enterprise solutions and services at the Business Manager and C suite level
  • Exceptional ability to motivate and influence multiple key contacts and decision makers
  • Experience selling into Capital Markets teams at banks
  • Proven expertise in developing relationships from cold call or networking activity highly preferred
  • Strong financial markets knowledge including interest rate derivatives, foreign exchange, and commodity derivatives.
  • Demonstrable, high performance track record of exceeding quota
  • Mastery of the sales process and understanding why people buy
  • Strong collaborator and partner both internally and externally
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills required
  • Relationships with consumers of capital markets technology (banks, insurance companies, asset managers, etc.)
  • Ability to travel to prospects, conferences, and others as required

Education

  • Finance/Economics or Information Technology focused Bachelor’s degree or MBA

The expected salary for this position ranges from $175,000 - $225,000. When determining your pay, we will take into account your skills, experience, and location.
