SUMMARY 

We’re seeking a freelance copywriter to support our full-time Copywriter on ad hoc creative needs. This role will contribute to projects including Gift With Purchase (GWP) concepting and execution, on-site copy development, paid media messaging, new launches and seasonal campaigns and promotions. The ideal candidate can quickly adapt to brand voice and deliver compelling, conversion-driven copy across channels. 
This role will work 25 hours/week.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conceptualizing messaging for local campaigns across all US channels 
  • Writing engaging, educational copy for a variety of channels, including social, website, email, in-store collateral, and internal communications 

  • Working alongside stakeholders from the Creative, Digital, Marketing, Social and Retail teams 

  • Additional tasks as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS & CHARACTERISTICS

  • BA/BS 

  • 3 Years’ Experience 

  • Experience in the beauty industry 

  • Conceptual thinker and diverse writing capabilities 

  • Detail-oriented and able to proofread 

  • Ability to quickly learn and work with little direction 

  • Time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Strong written & verbal skills, Multi-tasker, Great organizational skills 

  • Accept new responsibilities as they come and respond positively to instructions
