As a Security DevOps Engineer, you will securely bring planet-scale services into production and keep them running with high availability.

• You will deploy and manage systems to enable end-to-end encrypted meetings for end users, as well as internal platforms to enable secure deployments throughout Zoom.

• Others write the service code, but you get to architect how to deploy it securely with maximum automation, and you will help design how to best keep the lights on.

• Preferably you will have some internship experience shipping and running services in cloud environments, with a focus on AWS.

• You understand how cloud services can be secured

• You have a baseline knowledge of cryptography and/or PKI, especially as it pertains to TLS/SSL.

Role Responsibilities:

• Building large scale production systems

• Deploying existing and new security infrastructure

• Automate CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployments

• Design available systems with disaster recovery strategies

• Collaborate with the Security team on PKI

Be familiar with and/or have internship experience with some of the below:

• Hands-on cloud experience, AWS preferred

• SQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL database querying experience

• Bash or shell scripting

• Linux/Unix system administration

• Microservice architecture/orchestration - Kubernetes/K8S/ECS

• Cryptography/PKI - SSL, TLS

Nice to Haves:

• Azure, GCP, OCI

• IaC - Terraform, CloudFormation, etc

• Access Control Policy/RBAC

• Metrics/Statistics - Prometheus, Grafana

• Monitoring/Logging - ELK, ElasticSearch, Kibana
