Volansi is looking for an experienced Battery Systems Engineer to lead our power system design. The ideal candidate will help design, develop, test and validate battery packs and battery management systems for Volansi aircraft.

What you will do:

• High power battery pack design stressing minimum weight under high power draw
• Characterization of battery performance under extreme conditions
• Design and develop battery management system for high voltage and high current system
• Reliability testing and cycle life measurement
• Run simulation to characterize battery performance and lifetime

Required:

• Experience with standard battery chemistries and form factors
• 3+ years of experience with battery packs for aircraft propulsion including drones, consumer or automotive industries
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable with working in a fast environment
• Background in EE, ME, Material Science or Chemical Engineering
