Corporate Security Engineer

We’re looking for a Security Engineer to join Team Snapchat! As a member of the Corporate Infrastructure Security team. Working from our Mountain View office, you’ll collaborate with engineers from many disciplines to design and implement secure and usable infrastructure for our employees.
What you’ll do:
Design and implement tooling to monitor and ensure the integrity of our Mac, Linux and Windows devices; including the systems responsible for device attestation, binary whitelisting and agent health.
Review and provide architectural guidance for infrastructure systems, user lifecycle, fleet management and integration of business systems and automation.
Develop and maintain infrastructure and processes related to DNS, PKI, and Vulnerability Management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
2+ years of experience in a Security Engineer, DevOps or IT Security role.
Proven experience in one or more of the following areas: vulnerability management, system hardening, malware prevention and/or identity management.
Development skills in a language such as Python and/or Golang.
Advanced knowledge of system internals and use of observability tools, and a core competency in two or more of the following: macOS, Linux, Windows, Google Cloud, Okta.
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a Security Engineer, DevOps or IT Security role.
Practical experience in a BeyondCorp/ZeroTrust model.
Practical experience with Corporate Identity Access Management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
