We’re looking for a developer support engineer who enjoys helping others build on Airtable - from users who are new to React, to engineers at enterprise companies building complex applications. You’ll primarily communicate with external developers through email and chat to resolve technical problems, relay feedback in a product-focused manner to inform our engineering team, and help lay the foundations of Airtable’s developer community.

What you’ll do

• Provide exceptional technical support for new and experienced Airtable developers.
• Manage the community forum and produce relevant educational resources and troubleshooting documentation to scale support.
• Identify technical escalations when necessary and write clear and concise bug reports for our platform engineering team to investigate.
• Help turn customer feedback into actionable product recommendations for our engineering teams.
• Help train and educate the support team where there are knowledge gaps.

Who you are

• You are detail oriented and enjoy getting into the technical weeds
• You are a self-starter who takes initiative and is energized by building a young community
• Written communication is your forté; you can distill complicated topics into something clear and succinct
• You are a natural teacher and are passionate about helping others fulfill their potential
• You are experienced in Javascript (bonus for React or TypeScript)
• 2+ years of experience in a developer relations or technical support role
