We are looking for an experienced Android application engineer who can innovate and develop great unified communication applications that change the way millions of users work and communicate.
Responsibilities:
- Innovate and develop new video application features on Android appliances for video conferencing Rooms.
- Technical solution proposal and design
- Collaborate with other teams to drive end-to-end solution
- Collaborate with PM and Design team on requirements
- Create and review architectural and technical design of key components.
- Analyze and troubleshoot problems reported in feedback or by customers, and support customer success
- Drive key performance improvements: CPU, memory, delay, reliability, etc.
- Design and implement major Android application features
- PoC of key technology and innovative ideas.
- Proactively manage project dependencies and risks to ensure on-time delivery of commitment.
- Continuously research, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Requirements:
- Experience working on video/audio meeting applications
- In-depth understanding of video/audio technologies, including signaling, media and audio/video processing.
- Full stack technical skills on Android app development, and deep expertise for Android system and SDK. Experience with Android video appliances development is a big plus.
- Highly skillful in Android application coding with Java and Kotlin, C++ a huge plus.
- Advanced understanding of data structures, algorithms and OOP design paradigm.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills proven by resolving difficult technical issues
- Familiar with agile development cycle and continuous integration
- Strong business sense and good understanding of product features
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
